Our engagement in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic

Today more than ever, hospitals are seeking to increase their capacity while the number of patient admissions continues to grow, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The radiology solutions we produce have never been as vital, and we’re fully committed to meeting these requirements. Our fixed and portable detectors are an integral part of the X-ray tables and mobile systems offered by equipment manufacturers to produce high-quality images. They enable healthcare professionals to assess and monitor the status of patients with COVID-19 through the analysis of pulmonary lesions, both in X-ray rooms and directly at the bedside.

Supporting our shareholders and their customers around the world, who are meeting the needs of hospitals, healthcare professionals and patients, we’re playing our part in this collective effort to fight the pandemic, thanks to the unfailing commitment of our teams. Our priority is to enable our people on site to work in the best possible conditions. With the implementation of extensive health, safety and hygiene measures, we are ensuring we maintain critical activities at our Moirans site, such as production and delivery of detectors, which are strategically important in the fight against coronavirus.

Our purpose is to ensure continuity of service and to meet ever-increasing demands throughout this crisis period. As such, we have also implemented a plan to boost production. Our production facility is currently operating 24/7 with teams working across five separate shifts, thereby limiting the number of people physically present on the site at the same time. In addition, other vital support functions are being maintained by staff working from home. These include technical and commercial support, procurement, and supply chain duties.

On behalf of patients, hospitals and equipment manufacturers, we take this opportunity to thank all medical staff as well as our teams engaged daily in providing these medical solutions. The commitment of everyone at this exceptional time is helping us play our part in fighting this pandemic.
